PECO is an Exelon subsidiary that serves 1.6 million electric customers in Southeast Pennsylvania. Now partnering with AGENT511, PECO  offers customers the ability to report power outages and receive outage updates via text message with AGENT511. This new service can be activated when PECO customers register their mobile number by texting “ADDOUTAGE” to MYPECO (697376).

PECO also began offering customers customized billing, usage, and outage alerts by phone, email, or SMS through AGENT511 technology.
